Review: I didn’t come to New Orleans looking for fish tacos. But the tacos, they found me.
Like all New Orleans cuisine, the fish was fried. But it was fried WELL, and battered with buttermilk and masa, which is a good combo. There was no sauce at all, crema or otherwise, so I just squeezed a lemon wedge over the fish and that was enough. So it was good. Not the best taco in the world, and maybe a bit overpriced (we are in tourist land, so it is to be expected), but good.
