Review: The name of this taco is “Kamikaze Taco,” ostensibly because it is a mashup of Mexican and Japanese cultures. All of the tacos here are crazy mashups, and this was the only one that had fish (other than the shrimp “El Jefe,” but I had already eaten way too much shrimp for the day, so I went with this one).
My honest opinion? Sushi does not belong in a taco. But I did complain that Nora’s wasn’t creative enough, so I suppose I deserve this level of crazy taco creation.
There is a HUGE amount of meat inside these tiny tortillas. Probably too much. The only taste I got from this melange of ingredients was spicy. And yes, I know that isn’t a taste, but that’s all my mouth is feeling.
If I come back, I think I will try one of the vegetarian tacos. Maybe those ones have more flavors.
